Tyron (Ty) Jones ('88) Graduate of the University of Delaware in Communications; Masters in Acting from the Professional Theatre Trainng Program (U. of D.); appeared at numerous regional theaters including The Guthrie and Baltimore Center Stage; toured overseas as Hamlet with the American Shakespeare Theatre Company; film award-winner at Cannes; active in commercials; has appeared on Another World and CSI. Won an Obie Award (Village Voice Off-Broadway "Tony") for his work in the Classical Theater of Harlem's The Blacks. Played the title role in their 2003 summer production of Macbeth. Narrated the VH1 series, Black to the 80's. Off-Broadway played the title charachter for Faust in Love. Appeared on Broadway in Judgement at Nuremberg, the critically acclaimed Lincoln Center production of Shakespeare's Henry IV with Kevin Kline, and in Julius Caesar with Denzel Washington. His screenplay, Emancipation -- dealing with the Nat Turner revolt of 1831 -- was a finalist at the Sundance Feature Film Institute and winner at the San Francisco Black Film Festival. This spring, Emancipation, with Jones in the lead role, was presented to rave reviews at the Malcom X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial and Educational Center (the Audubon Ballroom, site of the Malcom X assassination) on Broadway in Harlem.

Keith McCarthy ('95) Teaches choral music at Caesar Rodney High School; 1999 graduate of West Virginia University in Music Education; earned a Masters in Music Conducting in 2002.
